Nokia N99 Nseries 8 Megapixel Camera Mobile Phone

Nokia is going to soon announce the launch of the next Nseries mobile phone with a 8 Megapixel camera and xenon flash which you can preview in the following image. The design is similar to the Nokia N93 mobile phone which comes with a slider and the camera can be rotated in any direction.
The Nokia N93 had only a 3.2Megapixel camera but this one may have a 6 to 8 Megapixel camera and make it the best digital camera mobile phone with the highest sized image resolutions and quality. Though Nokia has not released any official news about this upcoming mobile phone but this a kind of rumour which is spread everywhere because Nokia needs to overcome their own 5Megapixel N95 and Sony Ericsson K850i mobile phones.
Though we cannot confirm where this is another prototype of the Nokia N99 Mobile phone or not. The features are expected to be a 16Gb Memory card and a price range of around 1000$, lets see what comes out finally.

Nokia 3600 Slide Mobile Phone Review

If you are looking for a stylish phone with some real power, then you must go for Nokia 3600 Slide after Nokia 6600 Slide. This is one of those mobiles which have really designed to perform some really tedious jobs in really amazing and sophisticated ways.
First thing first, its design is something that will really flabbergast you as soft ceramic paints have been used to give it the beautiful and attractive look. To enhance the overall visual appeal metals with glossy surface have been used in this phone to complete that sophisticated look. It uses the sliding style with perfection and makes it look so eye catching that people really fancy buying it. It weighs only 97.3g with 2-inch screen. Screen is something that really makes it even attractive and with the availability of five way navigating key, it becomes easy to explore through the mobile.
Apart from that catchy look, it has some strong features that make it much more lovable by people in general. 240 x 320 pixels and TFT along with 16M colors it certainly becomes a treat for people to watch some nice videos on it. It supports all major file formats along with all known audio formats as well. When it comes to music, it has a dedicated music player in it that can store as many as 3000 songs. It has become possible as it can support a 4GB card. It can also store a good number of video songs and files which can be really amazing to watch with nice screen resolution.

Camera is one great feature that accompanies with this mobile. There is a 3.15 MP camera in this mobile that also has 2048×1536 pixels which makes it so wonderful to take pictures at will. Auto focus is an added benefit with this mobile which come along with a flash that makes things even astonishing. In fact, there is a 2-LED flash that makes it so easy to take pictures in some unfavorable lighting conditions and you can see your pictures on your TV as it comes with a TV out option as well.
It also comes with an optional application named as Nokia Bluetooth GPS Module LD-4W. This certainly is another amazing thing in this mobile as it contains the maps for more than 15 million points. Other than this, it has internet connectivity through GPRS and it also contains WAP, Modem and email client. Apart from these amazing features, there are all other general features as well. What else could you ask for!
As a whole, it certainly is one of those mobiles for which you will find a big yes, especially when you will compare it with other mobiles, you will see that it has almost all of the services that one need to have in a mobile. Also, when it comes to price, it really becomes even more amazing and attractive for people as it has an estimated price of 175 Euros which certainly is nothing when compared to its features

Ultra Smart F700

Samsung has unveiled a new mobile phone that features some of the sleek design and functions of Apple's much-hyped iPhone.
Samsung's Ultra Smart F700 will be exhibited at next week's 3GSM World Congress, a telecommunications exhibition in Barcelona, Samsung spokeswoman Sonia Kim said on Friday.
Mobile phone makers have been scrambling to match the iPhone, unveiled last month by Apple CEOSteve Jobs. The device, which will be available starting in June, marks the iPod andMac computer maker's entry into the mobile phone business.
The ultra-thin iPhone is controlled by touching the screen a large touch screen, plays music, surfs the Internet, and runs a version of the Mac OS X operating system, among other functions.
Samsung said the Ultra Smart F700 also has a full touch screen as well as a traditional QWERTY key pad that slides out "for users who are not yet familiar with a touch-screen-only user interface."
The phone can also access the internet, play music, take pictures, show videos, handle e-mail and share photos, said Samsung, the world's third-largest manufacturer of mobile phone handsets.
Its third-generation (3G) technology is considerably faster than the iPhone's EDGE system, and its 5-megapixel camera outclasses the iPhone's 2-megapixel camera.
"The Ultra Smart F700 is a good example of how (the) mobile phone will evolve in the future," Choi Gee-sung, president of Samsung's Telecommunications Network Business, said in a statement on Thursday.

Nokia RM-310 Cell Phone Gets FCC Approval

A Nokia mobile phone, identified only as RM-310, has just got the nod from the FCC. The phone features Java MIDP support and has a microSD memory card slot for expanding the available memory. There's a USB data cable connectivity for syncing with your PC/laptop. As with most other Nokia phones, there's Bluetooth support as well. The RM-310 also features a 2 megapixel camera, and you can tilt the camera in landscape mode to conveniently take photographs or videos. It features an LED flash as well.
With Visual Radio support, you can view information about radio programs that you are listening to on the included FM radio receiver (which, of course, is dependent on the station). If you have an external Bluetooth GPS receiver, you can use the Positioning feature on the phone to view your current location, track distances or create routes.
The phone also features Nokia's mini-map full-fledged web browser. Productivity applications on the phone include Quickoffice, featuring Quickword, Quicksheet and Quickpoint.
No word on the pricing or availability yet, but thanks to the FCC approval, the phone should hit the markets soon.

Mere mortals will need to wait until the third quarter of the year — if not longer, depend on their region and tolerance for some probable price gouging in the early going — to get their hands on the mighty Nokia N96. On the other hand, Mobile-review apparently knows the right hands to shake and eyes to wink to get hold of a prototype unit extraordinarily early, and they’re taking full advantage of the opportunity. A few hours of your time devoted to the novella of a review will net you a deep understanding and appreciation for the N96’s strengths and follies, but in a nutshell, the site seems to come away with a pretty ambivalent opinion of a device that should be knocking everyone’s socks off — especially for a sticker price that’ll hover in the $800 arena.

Neonode N2 Mobile Phone

Neonode, a Swedish mobile communications brand, will launch their latest mobile phone Neonode N2 in the US in 2008. The phone utilizes exclusive neno user interface and zForce optical touch screen technology.
The most recent development in mobile phone technology is the emerging popularity of the touch screen. Neonode N2 uses the most advanced touch screen technology, the zForce optical touch screen. It doesn’t need any hard pressure or stylus, but works quickly and accurately by reacting to sweeping and tapping signals on the screen. The intuitively organized user interface, neno, also enables the applications and contents to be accessed fast and easily.
“Our main focus is the user experience, which is the true key behind Neonode N2. It ranges from how you are able to use it, which we have enabled through zForce the optical screen, down to the easiness your applications and content can be accessed, which we solved through the combination of zForce and neon, the user interface,” said Mikael Hagman, President and CEO of Neonode.
Neonode N2’s United States phone carrier and retail availability will be announced the second quarter 2008. Neonode will be showcasing Neonode N2 mobile phone, as well as their intuitive technologies at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas January 7-10.

The company, which makes four out of every 10 phones sold globally, has been fiercely defending its dominant position in emerging markets and in making cheap models, as market growth in Europe and North America has slowed.

The cell phone maker's new phones are priced between 50 euros and 90 euros, targeting cheapest offerings from its main rivals, all of whom have so far shied from competing with Nokia's scale-benefits in making even cheaper phones.

Nokia expects replacement sales to consumers who already own a phone to grow to more than 60 per cent of sales volumes in emerging markets this year from around 50 per cent last year.

"We see a major trend happening there," said Alex Lambeek, head of emerging markets business at Nokia's entry unit.

When asked whether the firm was afraid of rivals getting into Nokia's stronghold – its entry unit gross margin has been at over 25 per cent level – Lambeek said:

"We have a healthy level of paranoia, but at the same time we have our own strategy and the key is to execute that – adding new dimensions like services and driving this replacement market and I believe that will keep us ahead."

Nokia expects spreading of FM radio receivers and recorders, cameras, and music players to boost replacement demand on emerging markets.

"The FM radio story is the first thing. Having FM on wider range of entry products and now FM recording. I would argue FM recording is the multimedia innovation for emerging markets," Lambeek said.

Two of the new phones unveiled at a media event in Johannesburg, the Nokia 5000 and Nokia 2680, have radio recording function.

Nokia unveiled a low-end multimedia phone Nokia 5000, which it plans to start selling this quarter for around 90 euros ($NZ178), excluding taxes and subsidies.

This quarter it would also start to sell its cheapest cameraphone, Nokia 1680 Classic, which would retail for 50 euros, when excluding taxes and subsidies.

The Finnish handset maker said Nokia 2680, with a sliding design and priced at 75 euros, and Nokia 7070 Prism, priced at 50 euros, would both go on sale in the third quarter.

"To keep the very strong leadership position in the emerging markets we have, we need to give consumers more choice – be it on design, be it on features, and in the future on services as well," Lambeek said.

"In many emerging markets, also in Africa, the first email will be sent and seen through the mobile device."

In Africa and the Middle East, its market share was 67 per cent in the fourth quarter, according to Strategy Analytics.

Late on Tuesday Nokia unveiled three mobile devices – two phones for CDMA networks and an Internet tablet – at a trade show in the United States.

Telstra brings i-mate mobiles to Oz

Aussie telco Telstra has announced an exclusive deal with i-mate T to deliver two high-speed i-mate Ultimate mobile devices to the local market.

i-mateT has announced the launch of the i-mate Ultimate 8502 and i-mateT Ultimate 9502 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Telstra is the first operator to deploy these devices globally and both will be exclusive in Australia to Telstra customers.

Holly Kramer, group managing director, Telstra Product Management said: “We’re excited to be the first mobile operator in the world to offer these new i-mateT Ultimate devices.”

The five-year partnership between i-mate and Telstra has seen the launch of 10 i-mateT devices on the Telstra network. According to Kramer, the speed of the devices is well-suited to Telstra’s Next G network.

“These advanced devices from i-mate are rated at down link speeds of up to 7.2Mbps and up link speeds of 1.9Mbps, making them the fastest PDAs available on the Next G network. The devices were chosen for their ability to showcase the power of Telstra’s Next G network,” she said.

Using Windows Mobile software, both the Ultimate 8502 and Ultimate 9502 house a very similar advanced feature set including Direct Video Out that connects the device to a digital projector or TV, Custom i-Q to quickly define your personal settings, and Secure i-Q to remotely lock and wipe the Ultimate device if it’s lost or stolen.

Jim Morrison, chief executive officer and founder, i-mate said: “We don’t believe that one size fits all. We offer a full range of Windows Mobile powered devices. We then customise these devices to suit the unique requirements of individual customers.”

Designed to run at optimal performance on the Telstra Next G network, the Ultimate devices from i-mateT are the first mobile handsets on the Next G network to offer high speed data uploading via HSUPA as well as high speed data downloading via HSDPA.
